The Church Buildings for Collaborative Partnerships project is underway!

Cohort 1 Activities – 2022

  • Training and Site Visits occurred in 2021
  • Cohort 1 congregations will receive ongoing assistance as they incorporate lessons learned into ongoing decision-making and interactions with existing or potential collaborative partners.

Cohort 2 Activities – 2022

    • Training Sessions
      • Session I (online) – Saturday, January 15, 2022, 10am-12pm ET
      • Session II (in-person) – Saturday, January 29, 2022, 11am – 4pm ET
      • Session III (online) – Saturday, February 12, 2022, 10am-12pm
    • Interviews (via Zoom)
      • Partners for Sacred Places consultants will interview 1 person from each faith community to learn more about their church buildings/property and ideas already surfacing for new uses, ministries, and/or collaborations.
      • To occur between February 28 and March 11
    • Site Visits
      • Partners for Sacred Places and others will visit each congregation in Cohort 2 to tour their buildings, offer insights about best practices for space sharing, and participate in conversations to explore collaboration possibilities with invited community guests/
      • To occur between March 28 and April 29
    • Cohort 2 congregations will receive ongoing assistance as they incorporate lessons learned into ongoing decision-making and interactions with existing or potential collaborative partners.

Cohort 3 Activities – 2022

  • Training Sessions and Site Visits
    • To be scheduled during July – November

Cohort 4 Activities – 2022-2023

  • Training Sessions and Site Visits
    • To be scheduled during October 2022 – April 2023
